Kurt worked with dancer Linda Garneau, who choreographed his 2010-11 Stars on Ice program Downstream, to choreograph this program. It was designed to fit the "Love 'n Life" theme of the 2011-12 Stars on Ice tour. From the 2012 tour program: "When I heard this version of Feeling Good by Adam Lambert, I loved how raw it sounded. I did not consider skating to it until it came on over my iPod while working out one day. All of a sudden, I thought that it was a great fit with theme of our show, and it made me think that when the chips are down, you still have to find the bright side of things. This song is all about a positive attitude for me. Thanks to Linda Garneau for helping me put it together, I hope it leaves you all feeling...good!"
