Canadian pair Jamie Sale and David Pelletier are just two of the
brightest stars on the Stars on Ice tour. Others include:
Alexei Yagudin, Russia: He won everything in 2002 - the Winter
Olympics, the World Championships, European Championships and the
Grand Prix Final - capping off Salt Lake City with the highest marks
for a single skater in Olympic history. He was also named by Sports
Illustrated for Women last year as one of the '75 Sexiest Men in
Sports.'
Katarina Witt, Germany: One of the world's most recognizable
athletes, having won gold in figure skating in 1984 in Sarajevo and
1988 in Calgary. She's also had an interesting acting career, playing
herself in 'Jerry Maguire,' getting shot by a sniper in 'Ronin' and
playing Pamela Anderson's foe in the TV series 'V.I.P.'
Kurt Browning, Canada: In his ninth season with Stars on Ice, he's
considered one of figure skating's greatest entertainers. He's the
only skater to successfully land a quadruple jump in world
competition, executing that feat at the 1988 World Championships in
Budapest, Hungary.
Todd Eldredge, United States: Just when you thought it was safe to
a stick a fork in this highly decorated American skater, Eldredge won
the 1995 U.S. Championship. Then, just when you thought he was
definitely done, he won the 2002 U.S. Championship.
