Olympic and world champions come to Sarnia for holiday skating tradition

SARNIA, ON, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - A stellar cast of Olympic and World champions will grace the ice at Holiday Festival on Ice for an all-new show at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre, December 12, 2001 at 7:30pm.

Four-time World champion Kurt Browning, Three-time World champion Alexei Yagudin, and World champion and two-time Olympic Silver medallist, Brian Orser, are part of this all-star cast.

"Holiday Festival on Ice will mark the beginning of the Christmas season for me," says Browning, "I'm really looking forward to it. It's a special family show that really makes everyone in the audience pause and enjoy the spirit of the season."

Also appearing with Browning, Yagudin, and Orser will be World Silver Medallists, Jenni Meno & Todd Sand and World Bronze Medallist, three-time US Bronze Medallist, Caryn Kadavy. Additional Canadian and International skaters will be named to the show in the coming weeks.

As the show's choreographer, Brian Orser is especially excited. "It's fun! We start out and close the show in an ensemble to holiday music, and in between we get to choose...it's a mixture of our favourite festive and popular music."
